Pubblicato da Polydor nel 1975 in seguito all'uscita dell'omonimo film di Ken Russell.
Rispetto all'orginale album, la tracklist, è stata modificata, rivista ed ampliata e riproduce tutte le interpretazioni degli attori originali: Oliver Reed, Ann Margret, Jack Nicholson, Tina Turner, Elton John, Eric Clapton. La maggior parte degli arrangiamenti sono stati eseguiti dagli Who o comunque con la presenza di almeno uno di loro coadiuvato da altri musicisti; molti pezzi sono stati rivisitati in chiave ironica.
I brani contrassegnati con l'asterisco (*) sono inediti, quindi non presenti nella versione originale del 1969.
